KEY ISSUES

PUBLIC SAFETY: Ensuring that proper public safety is delivered in an effective manner.  Maintaining staffing levels that are appropriate and that the City is delivering the highest quality services to residents, businesses and visitors.  Work with police officials to ensure we continue high quality partnerships such as the embedded social worker program  and the Joint Community Police Partnership.

LEADERSHIP: Work to make sure City leadership has the proper resources to serve all communities.

HOUSING: Continue to look for ways to maintain and upgrade housing stock while ensuring housing affordability remains present.

SUPPORTING LOCAL BUSINESSES: Having attended numerous local business networking meetings, I know how important it is to support our local businesses and help them find ways to succeed.  This is a commitment I have made to them.

UTILITIES: With aging infrastructure, this is a major concern.  We have made great strides in addressing this by replacing roads, lining underground pipes, fog sealing roadways and replacing areas with numerous failures.  We need to make sure we are staying the course while re-evaluating as we move forward.
